Best of the '80s In Music 3

Let's go for three: Billy Childs 'Take For Example This' came out in 1987 and I don't remember if I heard this on the original CD101.9 or on WBGO 88.3FM, a Jazz station which hails from Newark, NJ and still plays the best music on the planet. I fell in love with a piece of music called "Quiet Girl" and that was the beginning of my obsession with this talented and unique pianist-composer. This album was on Windham Hill and what also left an impression on me was that he had the poem by e e cummings on the album sleeve. I'm a huge fan of e e cummings so I guess it wasn't a surprise that I should feel connected to Billy Childs and the sound of his beautiful soul.
