Lostmarc'h Lann-Ael

Lostmarc'h is a niche line hailing from Brittany. I haven't tried the whole line, but so far, Lann-Ael ("Angel Heath" in Breton) takes my heart away with its soft, sweet Gourmand blend of buckwheat and other cereals, apple, milk and vanilla. It's fairly sweet, definitely gourmand, but also airy, like Apple Jacks with milk or, better yet, a fluffy piece of Baumkuchen, very nostalgic to me. If you're a vanilla lover, and you like Demeter Angel Food but found it just a tad too sweet, Lann-Ael might be the perfect alternative. It's a simple but well-balanced composition, a delight for the inner child in me--a mild, uncomplicated comfort scent to satisfy the sweet craving.
