Les Eaux de Caron Eau Fraîche

Les Eaux de Caron Eau Fraîche by Caron (1997) is one of three eau de cologne-type splashes (spritzers) for light activewear. Eau Fraîche is my favorite among them, a fresh, invigorating blend of citrus. It seems like a simple lemon scent but it's actually a stunning blend with delicately woven textures within. Some sources site jasmine and moss, which would bring it very close to what (the original) L'Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons smells like to me--a masterfully blended, beautiful and refreshingly light citrusy white floral, except Caron Eau Fraîche is a much more citrus-focused scent, like Acqua di Parma Colonia. I can smell the similarity between Acqua di Parma Colonia and Caron Eau Fraîche because of basil and other Provençal herbs intertwined with bergamot, but I believe Caron Eau Fraîche is softer and less herbaceous without the bracing lavender that Colonia has.

Fragrance lists these notes: Tangerine, Bergamot, Grapefruit, Artemisia, Thyme, Basil, Galbanum, Jasmine, Rose, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Musk, Oak Moss.
