Today, I've sampled the following:
Guerlain Vol de Nuit Evasion: What a name for a flanker scent. This is a really great scent, considering it smells like Attrape-Coeur (formerly Guet Apens). Attrape-Coeur reminds me of a cross between Samsara and Parure, so yes, Vol de Nuit Evasion definitely smells like a Guerlain--many generations of Guerlain all in one. Vol de Nuit Evasion is a travel-retail exclusive sold at duty free shops.
Prada Infusion d'Iris: The mainstream fragrance industry must be looking towards niche for their inspiration because this smells like Solange Stoned by Lyn Harris. It's lighter (though still heavy) and less Shalimar-esque, maybe a bit more like a skin scent musk in the vein of Creative Scentualization Perfect Vanilla. I get a lemony herbaceous labdanum. Chypre lovers might like it.
Safi: If you were lamenting the discontinuation of Escada Sexy Graffiti, one of the best limited edition summer scents they once offered, this scent packs a hypersweet, vivacious punch of tropical fruits (I'm getting passion fruit or some kind of red fruit cornucopia) with a bold, sweet, wooded base. For a similar fruity kick, also try Diamond Princess by Trina.
