Fragrance of the Moment
So far, I've taken the liberty of recommending scents for Chelsea and Hillary Clinton for the upcoming Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky wedding. We need to find a very special fragrance for Bubba. This is going to be a most significant day for Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, to see their only daughter get married. For some reason, I picture former President Mr. Bill Clinton at the reception wearing neon sunglasses, playing his saxophone, leading a conga line. What kind of scent goes from day to night, dignitary to party animal with one spritz? I can think of no other scent to fill that role but Creed Virgin Island Water, a convivial scent that puts lime in a coconut together with white rum and sugar cane in high-end British fashion. Although Creed fragrances tend to pack power, it's one of the more subdued, unsweet coconut scents I've ever tried (the coconut note reminds me of the one found in Parfums de Nicolaï Cococabana but much more subtle - a sun-warmed coconut), a beachy and fun, yet classy alternative to traditional Men's lime colognes. Pink Manhattan sends the very best wishes for a long and happy life as a new family.
